Hokies United

On our way down to Ann & Doug's wedding in the Outer Banks, we stopped by to visit Erica's sister Julie at Virginia Tech where she is attending graduate school. We were lucky enough to time it with a huge concert in remembrance for victims of the recent tragic shootings. Dave Matthews and John Mayer both played long sets and Phil Vassar and Nas each also played a set. One highlight was to see Dave play his song Crash, which is a rarity. Great music! In between sets, the crowd chanted 'Go Hokies' and did the wave just like at football games. Once the day turned to night and the stadium was in darkness, all the concert goers held up their glowing cell phones which lit up the stands. Neither of us had ever seen anything like it. The next day we walked around campus to visit Burruss Hall and The April 16th Memorial. Afterwards we made our way to a fantastic beach wedding in North Carolina.

Holly & Jason's Album

Holly & Jason's album is complete! This was our lucky 777 wedding, they even had their ceremony during 7:07. There were so many great moments at the wedding (and the best father-daughter dance we have ever seen):

Brides Against Breast Cancer

Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation is an organization that sells used bridal gowns to raise money for those suffering from breast cancer while also providing less fortunate women with the opportunity to get a beautiful dress. The stories of wishes that have been granted for terminally ill breast cancer patients are quite amazing.

Our studio is offering $50 off a post-wedding portrait session for anyone who donates their dress to this or a similar organization.
